Seating
- Sections 101–111. 101, 102 and 103 are nearest the stage, with the Pit in front of 102. 104 to 111 wrap round them, running from 104 and 105 on the left, through 106 to 109 across the back, to 110 and 111 on the right.
- Left and right are as drawn, with the stage at the top. Section numbers go up from left to right.
- Pit: on the Seating Map, the Pit is rows 1–6, between the stage and section 102.
- Boxes: the chart's boxes (BOX A1, BOX A2 and so on) are in the back half of section 102, where the Sound Mixer also sits.
- The lawn: general admission, first come, first served, so get there early for a good spot. The seats are under the tent.
- Where the lawn is: the venue's Inside The Pavilion map puts the lawn at the far end from the stage, with the Lawn Plaza behind it, and the South Plaza and North Plaza on either side of the stage.
- Gates: the Inside The Pavilion map shows the South Gate by the South Plaza, the North Gate by the North Plaza, the East Gate by the Woodforest Bank Club, and a Lawn Gate on each side of the lawn.
- Lawn chairs: the hill's slope makes personal lawn chairs a tumbling risk, so specially designed lawn chairs are for rent at most shows: $10 each on arrival (no cash), from the stations towards the bottom of the lawn on the North and South sides. Chair rental is free at performing arts events.
- "OV" seats: if your seat says OV, it has an obstructed view. A few large concrete poles hold up the tent, and they might block part of your view of the stage.
- Your ticket: a live mobile ticket (no screenshots) or a ticket stub is needed to enter the reserved seating area, so transfer a ticket to each person in your group.
- Standing: you can stand or dance in front of your seat, but not on it, and not in the aisles.
- Woodforest Bank Club: season ticket holders and box seat owners have access to it.
- Capacity: the venue describes its Main Stage as an iconic tent plus seating for over 16,000.
- Accessible seating: reserved seating for guests with mobility impairments is in designated areas, in various sections of the seating area and at various price levels.
- Wheelchair spaces: the Seating Map marks them beside the Pit, in 101, 102 and 103, and along the front of 106 to 109.
- Buying accessible seats: in person at The Pavilion Box Office, or online through Ticketmaster/Live Nation. On Ticketmaster, turn on the Accessibility slider under Filters.
- Wheelchair escort: if someone in your party needs a wheelchair to reach their seat, tell a staff member; First Aid has wheelchairs to escort guests to their seats. The escort is only to your seat, and wheelchairs can't be rented or loaned for your stay.
- Hearing: headsets for amplification are available at all performances, at no charge, from the Information Booth in the North Plaza. Request American Sign Language interpretation at least three weeks before the concert.
The layout changes by show. The seat map on your ticket listing is the final word for your show.
Bag policy
Clear bags 12" x 12" or smaller and non-clear handheld clutches 4.5" x 6.5" or smaller are allowed. Tinted bags and bags with printed patterns aren't.
The bag rule is strictly enforced, and bags are measured at the gate.
Bags for medical equipment (sized to fit the equipment), diaper bags with an infant or toddler, and nursing or pumping bags are allowed, subject to search. Small items like medication must follow the standard bag policy.
If your bag is too big: the Pavilion Info Booths don't accept bags, purses or backpacks of any kind, and unattended bags outside the gates or inside the venue are removed straight away.
Every entrance gate has walk-through metal detectors, and you may be searched on the way in; guests who refuse aren't let in.
You can bring: food in one one-gallon ziploc bag per person at Live Nation (rock, country, pop) shows, and at most shows small blankets, signs 8.5" x 11" or smaller, small umbrellas and rain jackets.
Not allowed: outside drinks of any kind, ice chests, glass of any kind (perfume bottles included), aerosol cans such as sunscreen and bug spray, detachable-lens cameras, audio and video recording equipment, laptops and tablets, selfie sticks, outside lawn chairs, tents or sun shades, large umbrellas and guns, among other items. Strollers can go in the plaza areas, but not under the tent or on the lawn.
